Safety Shoes Testing Machine
 |
This machine is used to test the protective reinforcement(toe
cap) of shoes, trainer, boots and clogs.
|
|
|
-
Height: 89 inches.
-
The locking mechanism prevents a second impact after the initial test.
-
This lever is used to raise and lower the impactor.
-
The control panel will display the velocity at which the impact took
place.
-
The drop release button releases the impactor setting the test in
motion.
-
The safety stopper prevents the impactor from striking the platform
directly.
-
The
Velocimeter (Time Gate) is a very precise electronic
device that calculates the time it takes for an object to pass in front of an
infra-red beam a few millimeters before impact. The time in milliseconds and
the length of the object are then used to determine the velocity.
-
The impact platform has a clamping mechanism that can be raised to the
height needed to secure the shoe firmly in place between it and the platform.
-
The air entry outlet for compressed air. The machine will need to be
connected to a compressor to work properly. The pressure should be between 80
PSI (min) and 150 PSI (max). That air entry device has a small container that
accumulates moisture that may be present in the air line system of the machine.
The container needs to be emptied manually, so it is important to keep track of
the water level of the container. Simply press the release water button on the
water receiver bottle to have the water evacuate the device.
-
The supporting legs are adjustable and should be used to make sure the
machine is level.
-
Width: 37 inches.
-
Depth: 21 inches.
-
Impact weight system was designed to meet industry standards and comes
with interchangeable weight plates.
