EN960 - Full Headform - Magnesium K1A

The full headform Magnesium K1A is currently used for triaxial (X, Y, Z direction) impact testing of helmets. The headform has been designed and created to meet the ISO/DIS 6220 & EN960 Standards.

Material : Magnesium K1A alloy Sizes: all sizes are available 100% CNC machined Testing lines are CNC grooved Complies with ISO/DIS 6220 and EN960 requirements. Headform for the EN960:2006 standard also available. Each headform is shipped with a certificate of calibration, serial number and a data sheet. The full headform magnesium K1a is built with a five axis numeric system, which gives the most accurate dimensions. Only one accelerometer is needed to fit into a complete set of headforms (sold separately). A single cone attachment is needed to fit into a complete set of headforms (sold separately).

The Cone attachment is used to mount the accelerometer to the headform's center of gravity.

The full headform magnesium.K1A is identified with references lines (see sketch below). These lines are grooved into the headform to provide the end user with more flexibility to align positions with their products.

All headform sizes are available. In the table below you will find several different headform sizes. Six of these have been selected for our regular production line, so they are always in stock. These 6 headform sizes (A, C, E, J. M and O) are used to determine 95% of all the world standards.
