Anvils
 |
The anvil is the impact device that a helmet comes into contact
with during an impact test. Every standard gives a detailed description of the
anvil to be used and the description is almost always identical from one
standard to the next.

 |
The quick release system consists of a male and female
component held together by a clamp. The male part attaches to the bottom
pedestal of a machine while the female part attaches to the bottom of an anvil.
This system is used to hold the anvil in position on the impact pedestal yet
allows the anvil to be changed in just a few seconds, without any tools
Our system is the only one on the market to offer the flexibility of 360 degree
positioning of the anvil. This functionality is extremely important for certain
anvil's (Curbstone, Hazard, Cylindrical, Etc...) that are used to test severe
impacts.
